Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and technology-savvy Chat Service Representative to join our Customer Care department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers through live chat, email, and phone interactions. You'll work independently, but also collaborate with our Online Chat Manager and other team members to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
  • Building relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and professionally
  • Promoting interest in client products and services
  • Consistently achieving established standards of the position
  • Portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team
  • Assisting with overflow work and other duties as needed

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Email, chat, and phone customer service experience
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and customer service software
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
