Associate Financial Reporting

The Associate Financial Reporting role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements and regulatory filings, creating financial reports, and maintaining accurate financial records while collaborating with a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, financial statements, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements
- Create financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making, including explaining material variances and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records using enterprise systems and advanced Excel skills
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with auditor requests
- Lead or assist with ad hoc financial reporting projects and research projects
- Stay current with accounting standards, preparing memos and white papers to update management
- Conduct trend analyses and research regulations to support financial operations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
- Up to two years' experience or equivalent education, training, or experience
- Experience in Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and theories and the ability to apply such knowledge in practical applications
- Progress towards CPA and/or MBA
- Insurance industry experience
- Experience using Workday Financials
