Job Description:

Join Experian, the world's leading global information services company, as a Data Science Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience in applying machine learning, data mining, and text mining techniques to drive business growth. As part of our R&D Lab, you will develop analytical solutions using cutting-edge technologies, including Quantum Computing, to solve complex business issues and empower consumers and clients to manage their data with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply ML, data mining, or text mining techniques to extract data insights and solve complex business issues
• Design data structures and storage schemes for efficient handling
• Explore and improve the application of Quantum Computing for fraud detection, digital marketing, and finance forecasting
• Conduct ROI and benefit analysis
• Document and present model process and model performance

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a PhD degree program in CS, Physics, or a related field
• Return to school in Fall 2025 to complete degree
• 0-3 years of working experience in analytics, data mining, or predictive modeling
• Experience with regression, Neural Network, or ensemble methods
• Proficient in Python, R, Java, C, or C++
• Prior experience with algorithms and applications of Quantum Computing
