Key Responsibilities • Deliver personalized online instruction to meet the unique needs of students with exceptional needs. • Develop and implement virtual IEPs and behavior support plans tailored to individual student requirements. • Customize curriculum and design accessible digital learning materials to cater to diverse learning needs. • Conduct online assessments and monitor student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes. • Collaborate effectively with families and school staff to enhance student success and address concerns. • Facilitate virtual IEP meetings and parent conferences to discuss student progress and set goals. • Remain informed about the latest special education laws and best practices in online instruction to continuously enhance teaching methods. Qualifications • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. • Valid teaching license with an endorsement in exceptional children's education. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in special education. • Proficient in using digital learning tools and assistive technology. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to create engaging and effective online learning experiences. • Demonstrated qualities of patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
