Rigger– HRSG/Boiler Outage Services
This is a remote position. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Rigger to join our dynamic construction team. As a Rigger, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy materials, equipment, and structural components on construction sites. This position demands precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety protocols in high-pressure environments. Responsibilities: Inspect and test rigging equipment (slings, chains, hooks, cables, shackles) for wear, damage, or defects prior to use. Select appropriate rigging hardware and techniques based on load weight, shape, center of gravity, and lifting method. reputed company accurate load calculations and determine safe working load limits (SWL) for reputed company rigging setups. Securely attach and balance loads using proper rigging techniques, including the use of spreader bars, lifting beams, and specialized slings. Collaborate with crane operators, signal persons, and supervisors to coordinate lifting operations safely and reputed company. Interpret blueprints, load charts, and engineering specifications to plan rigging strategies. Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and company safety standards during reputed company rigging activities. Maintain detailed logs and documentation of equipment inspections, maintenance, and incident reports. Train and mentor junior riggers and crew members on proper rigging practices and safety procedures. Respond promptly to site hazards and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately. Requirements: 4–5 years of hands-on experience in construction or industrial rigging environments. Valid certification in rigging (e.g., OSHA 10/30, NCCER or equivalent) and crane signalperson certification (preferred). Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, load charts, and technical manuals. Strong understanding of load dynamics, center of gravity, and structural balance. Proficiency in inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting rigging gear and lifting equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in extreme weather, and in physically demanding conditions. Commitment to safety, with a track record of reputed company incidents or near-misses.
