The Opportunity

The Postman Public API Network is the world’s largest repository of APIs, with tens of thousands of APIs to check the weather, look up sports scores, book events, plan travel, send payments, and more. As developers, we know there’s no better feeling in the world than seeing your code work, especially when you’re integrating with someone else’s API. We’re making it easy for developers to achieve that outcome as quickly as possible.

This is a hybrid position based in New York City. As a standalone business with Postman, we build fast, learn while doing it, and most importantly, have fun!

• Own the end-to-end design experience for major launches, set a high bar, and delight millions of developers worldwide.
• Work hand-in-hand with developers, product managers, and customers to build amazing user experiences.
• Work closely with senior leadership to set our roadmap and strategy.

• 10+ years of experience designing and launching user experiences, ideally for applications used by developers.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end product designs.
• Proven track record building B2B and enterprise-grade experiences. 
• Experience with rapid prototyping and user research.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Collaborative mindset and open to feedback and iterative design processes.
• You’re mission-oriented, care about the details, and like to move fast.
• Experience working in a two-sided network is a plus.

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $200,000.00 to $220,000.00 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

For all roles based out of San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and New York, employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.
