BPCS-EDI LEAD ANALYST

Step into a hands-on lead role driving Infor LX (BPCS) and EDI solutions for Belden's global operations. Provide oversight, coaching, mentoring and delivery of the 3rd party partners we use for BPCS and EDI Support and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with AS400 Processes: a thorough understanding of how to work with EDI in an AS400 and BPCS environment
• Strong knowledge of EDI formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN
• Familiarity with all EDI transactions, 850 Purchase Order, 810 Invoice, 856 Advanced Ship to Notice, 940 Warehouse Shipping Notice, 943 Warehouse Stock Transfer Shipment Advice, 944 Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice, 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice, 947 Warehouse Inventory Adjustment Advice,852 Product Activity Data Report, 846 Inventory Inquiry Specifications, 855 Purchase Order Acknowledgment, 997 Acknowledgement 888 Item Maintenance and possibly others
• RPG Programming: development and support of programs required to process files/data through EDI and into the BPCS and SAP S4HANA applications
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex EDI and system integration issues
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage 3rd party remote functional and technical BPCS and EDI resources
