Online Teller
About the position
The Online Teller position at Suncoast Credit Union involves providing real-time transaction assistance to members through video transmission via the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM). The role requires performing various financial transactions while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and maintaining a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate should be professional, friendly, and comfortable on camera, with opportunities for remote work after demonstrating proficient performance.
Responsibilities
- Process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, payments, transfers, and withdrawals. ,
- Ensure proper endorsements and identification are obtained to follow credit union policies and procedures. ,
- Utilize various software programs concurrently to complete transactions and communicate with multiple members simultaneously. ,
- Provide a high level of professional and courteous service while observing due diligence for the validity of the transactions. ,
- Perform end-of-day balancing. ,
- Adhere to security, audit, and compliance requirements. ,
- Support credit union expansion by recognizing opportunities to promote products to improve the financial lives of Suncoast members. ,
- Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge. ,
- Complete annual BSA/AML compliance training and understand employee's role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program. ,
- Complete FACT Act Red Flag training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. ,
- 6+ months of experience in customer service or a similar position. ,
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred. ,
- Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines. ,
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management. ,
- Ability to use multiple systems simultaneously. ,
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators. ,
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. ,
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
