Executive Assistant Location: Remote (Located near Raleigh, NC) Type: Contract, Part-Time (1099) Pay: $30–$40/hr, based on experience At Ainsley & Co., we’re a small, senior-led agency that works like the in-house marketing team our clients wish they had—responsive, resourceful, and relentlessly focused on what matters most. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a sharp, proactive, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our senior leadership and keep our operations humming behind the scenes. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys wearing many hats, and takes genuine pride in keeping the details in order so others can focus on the big picture. You’ll be the right hand to our senior team—managing calendars, coordinating meetings, handling travel, and stepping in wherever needed to keep things moving smoothly. What You’ll Do:

  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Manage busy calendars, prioritize meetings, resolve scheduling conflicts, and keep key players aligned and on time.
  • Support Communication Flow: Monitor inboxes, flag important messages, draft and send professional correspondence, and help keep leadership focused on the right things.
  • Plan Travel + Events: Book travel, coordinate logistics, and occasionally support onsite client meetings or events.
  • Help Us Look Sharp: Create and edit presentations, reports, and spreadsheets with a high level of polish and professionalism.
  • Pitch In Where Needed: Support one-off projects, streamline workflows, help manage CRMs and tools, and step in to keep things from falling through the cracks.
  • Occasional Social + Tech Support: Post to executive LinkedIn profiles or research new tools and platforms that make our work easier and smarter.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of administrative experience, with at least 2 supporting executive-level leaders
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Detail-obsessed, organized, and good at juggling multiple priorities at once
  • High emotional intelligence—you can read a room (even on Zoom) and respond with tact
  • Comfortable with tech—we use platforms like Google Workspace, Teams, HubSpot, and Zoom
  • Independent and resourceful—you figure things out, take initiative, and follow through
  • Discreet—you know how to handle sensitive information with care and professionalism
  • Availability during business hours (Monday–Friday), with flexibility for occasional evening or travel-based support

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting remote teams or working as a virtual EA
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Notion, or Monday.com
  • A good eye for design—enough to make presentations or reports client-ready
  • Experience in a marketing, creative, or consulting environment

Additional Details:

  • Contract Role (1099): Paid monthly based on hours worked
  • Hours: 20-30 hours/week, depending on your availability and our needs
  • Tech Requirements: Reliable Wi-Fi, a current Mac or PC with MS Office, webcam, and a quiet, professional workspace
  • Location Requirement: We're looking for someone located in the Raleigh, NC Metro area to support an executive in that area. Even though this job is remote, there may be some tasks that require short travel for support in the area.
