Warehouse Order Picker Full Time 2nd Shift

About the position The Warehouse Order Picker position at Staples involves working in a fast-paced environment to accurately pick and prepare customer orders, restock shelves, and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse. This role is essential to the Staples Supply Chain, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to safety protocols. Associates may rotate through various roles including Order Picker, Restocker, Bulk Selector, and Custodian, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the warehouse operations. Responsibilities ? Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals. , ? Scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep work area for the next shift. , ? Select product, pull, and pack totes, as well as cut cases of merchandise and/or stock product. , ? Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside of the facility. , ? Ensure adherence to safety procedures while performing all tasks. Requirements ? Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills. , ? Ability to work assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks. , ? Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines. , ? Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications). , ? Ability to lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand. , ? Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time. , ? Must be at least 18 years old. Nice-to-haves ? High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. , ? Prior warehouse or applicable experience including fast-food, stockroom, customer service, or package handling. Benefits ?
