As a Remote Technical Assistant, interns will be involved in a variety of tasks that support the employee population at ABCO. The responsibilities of this evolving position include analytics setup and management, where interns will assist in setting up and analyzing data to provide actionable insights. They will also help automate report generation and routine workflows, contributing to the efficiency of the company's operations. Familiarity with SQL and Python is essential, as these technical skills will be utilized in various tasks. Interns will also manage keystroke logging tools, support GPS tracking systems, and ensure secure password protocols are in place. They will assist in the setup and management of Sampro Tech IDs, oversee payroll management within the Sampro system, and provide remote support for computer and phone maintenance. Additionally, interns will track and manage employee attendance, monitor lunch break timings, and assist in tracking and approving overtime requests. This role offers a comprehensive experience in IT support and management, making it an excellent stepping stone for students pursuing careers in technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and analyzing data to provide actionable insights.

  • Manage keystroke logging tools, including installation, monitoring, and analysis.

  • Support in setting up and monitoring GPS tracking systems.

  • Ensure secure password protocols are in place and manage password databases.

  • Assist in the setup, management, and troubleshooting of Sampro Tech IDs.

  • Oversee and ensure accurate payroll amounts within the Sampro system.

  • Provide remote support for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of computers and phones.

  • Assist in tracking and managing employee attendance.

  • Monitor and manage lunch break timings to ensure compliance.

  • Assist in tracking and approving overtime requests.

  • Ensure employees have proper access rights in the Sampro system.

  • Assist in the setup and management of dial pads.

Requirements

  • Strong technical acumen and ability to learn new software quickly.

  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
