Scrum Master
We are looking to hire a Jr. to Mid level Scrum Master for a 3 month contract in Southlake, TX. This will be a temporary need and will require a candidate come onsite 5 days a week at the headquarter office in Southlake, TX. There will be a possibility for the contract to extend beyond the original 3 month mark. Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitation of meetings to go over business requests, driving them through completion and keep all stakeholders informed of the status
- Facilitation of scrum ceremonies for agile teams (Sprint Planning/Demos/Retrospectives)
- Support Product team in prioritizing, moving along backlog items and new items coming through the pipeline
- Support scrum teams by removing roadblocks and guiding team to achieve goals
- Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced working environment
- Track metrics for the scrum teams throughout the releases and overall year
- Prioritize bug resolution from QA within the current sprint
- Prioritize bug resolution from UAT activities that occur at the end of previous sprints without impact to current workloads
- Work across development teams to align on cross team dependencies and make sure teams are not blocking each other
- Help facilitate resolution of issues during team’s work hours to make sure that working hours are not lost due to blockers
- Coordinate with Product Scrum Master to make sure that deliverable timelines are met on or ahead of schedule to reduce just-in-time activities
- Propose process improvements for development teams to ensure that sprint goals are set and achieved by teams
Must Have Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Scrum Master Certification preferred
- 2 – 4 years of experience working in an agile environment
- Ability to communicate across technical and business resources
- Highly organized, self-starter with strong problem-solving and time management skills
- JIRA experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams
