Salesforce QA Tester

Description: • PCG Consulting Group is a leading minority-owned consulting firm. • The Salesforce QA/Tester is responsible for ensuring quality, reliability, and functionality of Salesforce applications. • This role involves meticulous testing processes and collaboration with developers and stakeholders. • Responsibilities include test planning, execution, defect management, automation testing, performance testing, and reporting. • Collaborates in Agile processes and continuous improvement of testing practices. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, are a plus. • Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably with Salesforce applications. • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, workflows, and integrations. • Proficiency in using testing tools such as Provar, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or other automation frameworks. • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail. • Familiarity with Salesforce-specific testing tools, such as Apex Test Execution and Developer Console. • Knowledge of APIs and tools for testing API-based integrations. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify, isolate, and resolve defects efficiently. • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve them. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to document testing activities and present results to stakeholders. • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies in a fast-paced environment. • Experience testing Salesforce Lightning Components, Visualforce pages, and custom Apex code is preferred. • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including participation in sprint-based development cycles is preferred. • Experience in performance and load testing tools and techniques is preferred. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment/testing tools is preferred.
