[Remote] Platform Support Engineer

The Platform Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting trading systems, working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure high availability and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a global support team
• reputed company system instrumentation, monitoring and reporting tools
• Work with internal businesses to identify and resolve issues

Skills

• Experience supporting an existing large system to reputed company high reputed company of availability, ideally financial and/or trading systems
• Working on existing internal systems
• The team works reputed company closely, and it is a high-pressure mission critical production environment
• Strong communication skills
• In this role you will be required to be flexible regarding work schedule, including occasional weekend duties
• 3 or more years of object-oriented development experience (ideally C++)
• Relational Database experience
• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred)
• 3-5 years' work experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry
• Proven ability to problem solves and multi-task
• A working knowledge of the fixed income market is preferred
