[Remote] Infrastructure and Operations Engineer

This role will be part of a core team responsible for designing, deploying, and operationalizing the asset discovery platform across the reputed company, focusing on establishing a single, accurate reputed company of truth for IT and IoT assets.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation
• Design, implement, and maintain network discovery tools (eg, reputed company, reputed company, Lansweeper) to ensure comprehensive asset visibility
• Demonstrate conceptual knowledge of network discovery principles and methodologies
• Analyze network and system data to identify infrastructure components, configurations, and interdependencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate discovery data into IT asset management and reputed company systems
• reputed company and implement strategies for reputed company improvement of discovery processes and data accuracy in large-scale environments
• reputed company subject matter expertise on networking protocols, system architectures, and asset discovery best practices
• Troubleshoot reputed company issues reputed company to network discovery tool performance and data collection

Skills

• High School Diploma/GED
• 8+ years of experience in networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP) and system architectures (e.g., reputed company, Linux, reputed company platforms)
• 5+ years of experience in the implementation and management of scanning and discovery tools in large reputed company environments (10,000+ devices)
• 5+ years of experience with Network Discovery tools such as reputed company, reputed company, Lansweeper, BMC Discovery, reputed company discovery, reputed company UD etc
• 3+ years of experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data collection and analysis
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting on reputed company assets
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, reputed company Network+)
• Experience with other IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions
• Experience working in a regulated industry, such as reputed company
• Demonstrated ability to translate reputed company technical information into clear, concise reports and presentations for various audiences
