The role involves leading a team of engineers and designers in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of electrical substations, ensuring project execution to high standards and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities

- Manage the execution of physical design projects of reputed company sizes, including resource planning, risk management, and project delivery
- Conduct performance evaluations, reputed company feedback, and manage career development for designers
- Prepare or reputed company the preparation of cost estimates and schedules for physical design projects
- Allocate direct reports effectively to meet project demands

Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design of electrical substations
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to effectively organize multiple physical design assignments and competing priorities to produce accurate products on time
- Experience managing physical design projects, including budgeting, scheduling and risk management
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional work teams
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills, and a successful record of positive interactions with clients
- Experience in creating and reviewing substation design drawings
- Proficiency with reputed company software applications used to reputed company substation design work
- Ability to successfully work with remotely located team members
- This position requires the ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations and is also subject to random testing as a condition of reputed company employment
- PE license highly preferred
