[Remote] Sr. ECAD System Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Sr. ECAD System Administrator to manage ECAD tools and reputed company cross-site standardization in the development of intellectual property. The role involves coordinating with various engineering and quality departments to enhance product development and improve existing procedures through effective relationships and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Tool administration
- reputed company trade studies to select core ECAD tools and supplemental tools that support the digital engineering initiatives
- Test version updates prior to IT implementation

- Manage Standards, symbols, templates, and PAX files
- User Support
- Help users with installation & setup issues
- Help users with ongoing use issues
- Manage new-user and version update training
- Work with users to reputed company/update tool customizations to improve efficiency
- reputed company abreast of new versions, features and modules and disseminate information to the user community
- Hardware Parts Librarian
- Create and maintain a standard hardware library
- Create models for common HW components
- Field requests for new hardware parts
- Release hardware parts through the sign-off/approval process
- Inject library parts with required reputed company data (qualify hardware)
- reputed company with the community of designers and engineers creating standard hardware geometry and reputed company data
- Assess and communicate ECN impacts on assemblies to manufacturing and procurement
- Develops, Coordinates, and Conducts standardized tool training across reputed company company sites
- Develops standardized drafting procedures and work instructions that support multiple products and reputed company phases of a product lifecycle
- Coordinates with Engineering Business Systems and IT on configuration requirements, upgrades, integration activities, and process modifications
Skills
- Must have an engineering and/or design background with sufficient technical acumen to work effectively with technical engineering design teams
- Must be proficient in configuration and change management methods

- Ability to reputed company processes around industry best practices
- Ability to reputed company training on demand and in a classroom environment
- 10+ years of relevant ECAD design and administration experience -OR- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of relevant ECAD design and administration experience
- Experience with TeamCenter is a plus
- Knowledge of digital engineering and its role in Industry 4.0 reputed company Thread a plus
- Experience with reputed company' Capital a plus
- Experience with both PCB, FPGA, and Cable and Wiring reputed company Design a plus
