[Remote] Embedded Software Test Engineer

The Embedded Software Test Engineer will reputed company unit tests in Embedded C for Arm reputed company and PIC microcontrollers and reputed company test verification for DO-178, contributing to the reputed company of aerospace power distribution electronics.
Responsibilities
- reputed company Unit Tests in Embedded C for Arm reputed company and PIC microcontrollers
- Test Verification for DO-178
- High-level and low-level test case and procedure development per DO-178
- Independent review of design, test cases, and test procedures
- Review and integration of reputed company-party verification and validation (V&V) vendor tests
- Issue creation with problem reporting tools
- Utilization of Vectorcast
- Pipeline automation for CI/CD
- Reports to satisfy V&V documentation requirements
Skills
- High-level and low-level test case and procedure development per DO-178
- Independent review of design, test cases, and test procedures
- Review and integration of reputed company-party verification and validation (V&V) vendor tests
- Issue creation with problem reporting tools
- Utilization of Vectorcast
- Pipeline automation for CI/CD
- Reports to satisfy V&V documentation requirements
- Have received a BA/BS Degree in, Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history
- 3-5 years of experience reputed company based years of experience
- U.S. reputed company Only (ITAR, CUI, NOFORN)
- Experience with embedded software languages
- Knowledge of tools and test methods needed to debug firmware solutions
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, reputed company Improvement (Kaizen, 5S, 6σ)
- Experience with Agile and waterfall development approaches
- Understanding of the DO-178 certification process from design to certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
