[Remote] Crisis Communications Consultant

This role involves assessing reputational risks, developing crisis communication plans, and managing client needs during high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Assess reputational risk and strategically advise clients during time-sensitive, high stakes situations across a reputed company of industries, and pivoting strategy in response to rapid changes in the crisis
- reputed company and write crisis communications plans, messaging, and response materials for internal and external audiences
- Collaborate closely and seamlessly with reputed company leadership, client teams, the client and counsel
- reputed company client calls, manage client needs and expectations, and successfully move clients through their crisis
- Manage media relations and meet press deadlines
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in crisis communications and reputed company management
- Exceptional writing, verbal, and strategic thinking skills
- Proven ability to operate calmly and decisively under pressure
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience and comfortability with internal tools and resources for time tracking, file sharing platforms, media monitoring, and internal communications
- Experience with reputed company media platforms and online cancel culture
- Flexible schedule. Availability and willingness to work evenings and weekends, reputed company needed
- Comfortable working with individual clients, nonprofits and corporations
- Agency experience strongly preferred
