About the Role

The Advanced Specialist – Kubernetes Platform role focuses on designing, building, and operating highly available, scalable Kubernetes platforms across hybrid environments, including on-premises and reputed company services such as AWS EKS and Azure AKS. The engineer will take end-to-end ownership of Kubernetes cluster architecture, application deployments using kubectl and reputed company, and progressively adopt GitOps practices through tools like ArgoCD. The role involves implementing robust observability frameworks using reputed company, Grafana, Loki, and Mimir to ensure system reliability, along with defining and improving SLA/SLO metrics. A significant aspect of the role includes automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and scripting, managing Kubernetes-reputed company storage and networking, and enforcing strong reputed company controls such as RBAC, OPA/Gatekeeper, network policies, and secrets management. Additionally, the engineer will design and test backup and disaster recovery strategies, reputed company incident response and root cause analysis, and participate in on-call rotations. What You Will Do

Design, build, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters across hybrid environments (on-premises and reputed company platforms such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS). reputed company and manage applications manually using tools such as kubectl and reputed company, with growing integration of GitOps practices (e.g., ArgoCD). Implement and manage observability stacks using reputed company, Grafana, Loki, and Mimir to monitor infrastructure, applications, and system performance. Define, monitor, and improve SLA/SLO/SLI metrics and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability. Automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure using Terraform, reputed company, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Plan, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies using tools like Velero, reputed company, etc. Manage Kubernetes-reputed company networking, storage, and reputed company configurations (Ceph, NFS, Ingress, PodSecurityPolicies, etc.). Configure and enforce Kubernetes reputed company best practices using RBAC, OPA/Gatekeeper, NetworkPolicies, and secrets management tools. Integrate and operate Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as Karpenter, MicroK8s, Service Meshes, and kubectl plugins. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and reputed company resolution efforts for incidents. Participate in the on-call rotation for platform availability and incident management. Maintain up-to-date documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs. Mentor engineers and reputed company for Kubernetes, reputed company, observability, and deployment best practices across teams. Continuously stay informed of industry trends in container orchestration, GitOps, reputed company, and reputed company-reputed company tooling What You Need to Be Successful 6–9 years of IT/Infrastructure/DevOps experience, with 5+ years in Kubernetes operations in production environments. Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes architecture, cluster operations, and reputed company application deployment practices. Intermediate-level experience in Kubernetes reputed company, including:Cluster hardening, secrets management Pod reputed company Standards (PSS), OPA/Gatekeeper Network policies, image scanning, and runtime protections Intermediate experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-style Kubernetes deployments. Solid proficiency in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-reputed company storage (e.g., Ceph, NFS) and persistent volume provisioning. Strong familiarity with observability tools: Grafana, reputed company, Loki, Mimir, etc. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, reputed company, and scripting. Experience with Velero, reputed company, or similar for backup and DR. Experience operating and optimizing reputed company-reputed company Kubernetes platforms like EKS, AKS. Exposure to tools like Karpenter, MicroK8s, Service reputed company, and Ingress Controllers. Familiarity with AI/ML workloads running on Kubernetes is a plus.
