Accounts Receivable Specialist I

reputed company is a Boulder-based company that distributes over 500 innovative products worldwide. They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to manage daily reputed company activities, including billing, payment applications, and claims processing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for initiating, monitoring, and maintaining invoice process and ensuring accurate invoicing to Customers
• Responsible for accurately posting payments to customer accounts and resolving any errors after posting payments, posting prepayments, or deposits
• Accesses customer portals and websites to retrieve remittance details to apply payments
• Manage customer collection cases – occurs reputed company customer invoices are not paid by their invoice due dates
• Extracts and analyzes data, provides recommendations and reputed company to customer accounts
• Maintains reputed company documentation of customer correspondence about collections and payments in reputed company ERP system
• Updates and reports on delinquent accounts, reputed company balances, collection issues, or payment issues as assigned
• Works closely with Sales and Operations to resolve unidentified deductions on payments
• Communicates with customers’ AP teams or uses customer portals for additional information and to dispute
• Understands Customer Agreements to assist in the elimination in chargebacks
• Assists with disputes – which may be caused by incorrect billing, missing goods, pricing, etc

Skills

• 1-3 years reputed company, Finance, or other business experience required (order entry, distribution operations, customer service, or similar) or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability with reputed company Office. Must be proficient in reputed company
• Ability to work independently and at quick pace while having a strong sense of urgency and accuracy
• Must be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Self-motivated to complete tasks on time and improve team efficiencies
• Professional written and verbal communication skills required
• Must be reputed company to reputed company in a fast-paced, reputed company-changing work environment
• Must be reputed company to communicate fluently (read, write, and reputed company) in English
• Must be 18 or older to apply
• Outlook experience preferred
• Experience with an reputed company ERP system preferred (Great Plains, Dynamics, reputed company or reputed company)
