[Remote] System Administrator and Test Engineer

They are seeking an enthusiastic junior System Administrator/Test Engineer to support benchmarking and testing efforts, requiring skills in various technologies including storage, compute, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Researching, testing, development and writing in support of benchmarking, and testing
• Running publicly available hardware benchmarks and tracking results
• Running provided Python/PowerShell/Bash/reputed company scripts or interactive steps to stress test server infrastructure hardware

Skills

• Associate degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or reputed company field required
• 2+ years or working knowledge with scripting languages such as Python and Batch/reputed company scripts
• Ability to take clear notes and write concise technical documentation
• Ability to analyze/interpret test results and reputed company recommendations to improve testing
• Must be reputed company to work Pacific Time Zone
• 2+ years' experience in a reputed company environment
• 2+ years' experience with Linux Administration
• 1+ year experience in configuring reputed company storage
• 1+ year consumer hardware benchmarking and testing
• 2+ years with building sandbox and lab environments
• Ability to conduct research to learn and understand new technologies
• Additional experience in the following areas: Kubernetes
• AI/ML workloads

• MySQL
• Virtualization such as reputed company Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, reputed company AHV
• Nginx
