[Remote] Business Analysis and Business Intelligence, Trainee
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is offering a Business Analysis and Business Intelligence training program aimed at helping technology professionals develop critical digital skills. This program focuses on business analysis methodologies, data analysis, and business intelligence, providing participants with hands-on experience and knowledge to support data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Participate in instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities
- Learn business analysis fundamentals, including requirements elicitation, stakeholder communication, and business process evaluation
- Explore business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Document, analyze, and manage business, user, and solution requirements
- Apply UML and BPMN techniques to model business processes and requirements
- Learn how AI-powered tools can support business analysis activities and decision-making
- Develop practical SQL and data analysis skills for business and reporting needs
- Explore data profiling, data modeling, and data governance concepts
- Create dashboards and visualizations that communicate business insights effectively
- Learn how to support data-driven decision-making through business intelligence practices
- Study project discovery, requirements management, and risk management approaches
- Participate in practical assignments, quizzes, and program activities throughout the learning journey
- Collaborate with mentors and fellow participants during workshops and discussions
- Apply analytical thinking to real-world business scenarios and case studies
- Stay informed about modern trends in business analysis and business intelligence
Skills
- No previous participation in the Tech Orda voucher program
- Successful completion of the program selection process
- Knowledge of English at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
- Basic knowledge of Relational Database Management System theory
- Understanding of SQL
- Basic understanding of Business Analytics and Business Intelligence domains
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn independently and manage study commitments
- Effective communication and stakeholder interaction skills
- Commitment to completing theoretical and practical program activities
- Experience working with data analysis or reporting tools
- Familiarity with business process modeling techniques
- Basic understanding of data visualization principles
- Knowledge of requirements management practices
- Experience working with spreadsheets and analytical datasets
- Interest in AI-assisted business analysis approaches
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative learning environments
