[Remote] Benefit Analyst (Workday– Payroll & Benefits)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pacer Staffing is seeking a Benefit Analyst to support HR benefits operations and payroll accuracy within Workday. The role focuses on benefits administration, leave management, payroll reconciliation, and auditing HR data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Support Workday-based benefits and payroll operations
- Administer employee benefits including health plans and deductions
- Manage leave processes including STD, LTD, and FMLA coordination
- Audit payroll and benefits data to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile large datasets and ensure HR/payroll data integrity
- Support payroll cycles including corrections and adjustments
- Collaborate with HR teams and vendors to resolve escalations
- Assist with reporting, compliance, and audit documentation
- Support Open Enrollment and benefit lifecycle activities
- Identify process improvement opportunities based on audit findings
Skills
- 5+ years of HR Operations, Benefits Administration, or Payroll experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday (Benefits + Payroll modules)
- Experience managing health benefits, deductions, and enrollment processes
- Knowledge of STD (short-term Disability), LTD (long-term Disability), FMLA, and leave administration (LOA)
- Experience in payroll processing, reconciliation, and off-cycle payments
- Strong background in benefits and payroll auditing (data discrepancy resolution)
- Ability to analyze large HR/payroll datasets using Excel or reporting tools
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in HRIS/payroll/benefits operations environments
