[Remote] Senior Product Manager II, Data and Reporting
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Wrapbook is a smart platform that simplifies production payroll and accounting. The Senior Product Manager II will own the data foundation and reporting, ensuring accurate and scalable reporting for enterprise customers while collaborating closely with engineering and analytics teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the reporting roadmap. Define and drive the foundation for flexible, enterprise-grade reporting — identifying the full set of reports production companies and studios require, building the infrastructure to support them at scale, and ensuring every report is accurate, auditable, and fast
- Set the data quality and pipeline strategy. Own the roadmap for how Wrapbook's production, payroll, and accounting data is structured, validated, and made accessible. Ensure data quality standards are in place so that AI features, reporting, and integrations are working from a reliable source of truth
- Partner with AI-focused PMs to ensure the data substrate is clean and structured enough for AI bets to work reliably. You won't own the AI features — you'll own the foundation they depend on
- Define the path to scalable data infrastructure. Work with engineering to evaluate and implement the right data architecture (including Snowflake connectivity) to enable cross-production insights, flexible reporting, and long-term data access for customers and internal tools
- Design for diverse customer workflows. Production companies and studios have different reporting needs depending on production type, scale, and accounting structure. Ensure the reporting platform is designed to serve that range without fragmenting into disconnected solutions
- Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their reporting gaps, validate priorities, and translate production accountant and finance team workflows into clear product requirements
- Write clear product requirements and supporting documents based on strong customer research and data analysis, and partner with your cross-functional stakeholders to bring projects to engineering-ready
- Execute with a dedicated team, partnering with your Engineering Manager to lead the team through discovery, delivery, and iteration
- Partner closely with the Analytics team to align on data definitions, shared data models, and source of truth. Ensure that the infrastructure built for customer-facing reporting also serves internal analytics needs — avoiding parallel pipelines and conflicting definitions that erode trust in the data over time
- Measure and communicate impact — tracking report adoption, data pipeline reliability, and the downstream effect of your work on AI feature performance and customer outcomes
Skills
- 6+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time owning data-intensive products — analytics platforms, reporting infrastructure, BI tools, or similar
- Technical fluency with data pipelines, data modeling, and reporting infrastructure. SQL proficiency expected; experience with tools like Snowflake, dbt, or similar is a strong plus
- A point of view on how canonical business metrics should be defined and governed upstream of reporting — and why this matters for data trust across a product with multiple consumers of the same numbers
- Experience building enterprise-grade reporting products — a deep understanding of what finance, accounting, and operations teams need from a reporting layer, and how to build for auditability and scale
- Experience building self-serve or configurable reporting capabilities — where customers shape their own views and delivery cadences rather than consuming reports a PM pre-defined. Familiarity with embedded analytics patterns is a strong plus
- Systems thinking — an instinct for how data quality upstream affects every downstream consumer: AI features, customer-facing reports, integrations, and internal tooling
- A balance of strategic vision and executional rigor — able to define the long-term data architecture direction while delivering near-term reporting wins for customers
- Strong written communication — able to write precise product requirements and data specifications that engineering teams can build from without ambiguity
- Customer empathy and a problem-solving mindset — comfortable engaging directly with production accountants and finance executives to uncover root causes and turn pain points into roadmap priorities
- Experience working in or building for financial software, payroll, accounting, or entertainment production is preferred but not required
