Co-occurring Disorder Outpatient Counselor - Remote | WFH
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Co-occurring Disorder Outpatient Counselor to join our Choices Integrated Healthcare program. This position offers a competitive salary range from $50,000.00 to $171,600.00 per year, commensurate with experience, credentials, and assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities... Conduct individual counseling sessions and group facilitation, focusing on mental health and substance use disorder needs of clients. Perform client assessments, develop, evaluate, and modify care plans in collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor and medical director. Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring model fidelity throughout treatment. Document all services accurately and timely according to standards. Collaborate with the treatment team, referring clients to additional services as needed. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and regulations. Provide crisis intervention services and participate in audits and quality improvement plans.
Requirements
Possess at least an associate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related healthcare field. Students pursuing relevant degrees may also be considered for contracted services. Minimum of 1 year of experience in case management, mental health counseling, or substance use disorder counseling. Current license, certification, or registration in Maryland in one of the following disciplines: [List of certifications/licenses provided in the original description] Skills Proven counseling experience with a strong understanding of psychotherapeutic principles and healthcare management. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks effectively.
