Job Description:

Perform procurement and supplier management activities in support of U.S. Government and Commercial contracts.
Administer and manage high dollar and complex material and service procurements from both domestic and international suppliers.
Utilize source selection techniques, compile, and analyze data to perform price analyses, conduct negotiations and identify supplier risks.
Ensure that requirements are properly communicated to suppliers and manage supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
Work closely with the program office to identify solutions to sourcing issues.
Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.
Assist in the training of peer procurement professionals as needed.

Requirements:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
Experience placing purchase orders of medium to high complexity and medium to high dollar values.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
DoD procurement experience and working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Strong negotiation skills.
Proficiency to perform and comprehend price and cost analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Excellent time management skills.
Demonstrated understanding of all phases of sourcing and procurement execution.
Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools.
