Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to own the development, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of our Shopify storefront. This role will partner closely with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to deliver high-performing, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences.

This is a hands-on role focused on customizing and extending the Shopify ecosystem to support business growth, merchandising strategies, and customer experience improvements.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.
• Experience with the Shopify Online Store 2.0 architecture, including Sections, JSON templates, and dynamic content blocks.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs and the Storefront API for custom app or headless integrations.
• Comfort working with Shopify themes, including theme customizations, version control (Git), and theme deployment processes.
• Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Vue.js or React) for UI customization and performance optimization.
• Experience with Shopify Plus features such as Scripts, Launchpad, and Flow (if applicable).
• Proficiency with web site accessibility requirements. (WCAG 2.2)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Four or more years Shopify experience
• Must be able to communicate well with design, marketing and other IT groups.
• Self-motivated and willing to teach and share new things about the Shopify ecosystem with other team members.
