Job Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Crafting and delivering impactful industry trend reports to senior management, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions
- Supporting critical elements of our weekly print run process, ensuring that the right number of books hits the shelves at the right time
- Mastering COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) summaries, comparing forecasts with actuals and highlighting growing trends to guide data-driven decisions
- Collaborating with our Planning team to analyze sales and inventory movement, optimizing warehouse inventory and preventing stock shortages
- Leading metadata optimization tasks, including title and contributor enhancements, to supercharge sales for our valued retailers
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Masterful communication skills, with the ability to hold insights and collaborate effectively
- Data-driven problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis
- Meticulous organization and attention to detail, ensuring that no data issue goes unnoticed
- Project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly transition between tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
* Comic enthusiast, with a passion for the Marvel Comics/Intellectual Property universe
- Experience working with data-driven tools and software, such as data visualization platforms and statistical analysis software
- Strong understanding of comic book publishing and the entertainment industry
- Familiarity with metadata optimization and title enhancement processes
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in research, analytics, or a related field
- Currently enrolled in a university or university, with at least one course in the semester/quarter preceding participation in the internship application
- Must have graduated from a university or university within the past six months at the time of application posting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
