What you'll do
* Work closely with our data engineering team to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Design and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Work with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms that drive business outcomes.
- Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of data-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our data-driven initiatives.
All you'll need for success
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies, such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Favored qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Carrier Industry Experience
* Experience working in the airline industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of airline operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and customer service.
- Experience with airline-specific systems and technologies, such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport.
