The Role

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and previous data entry experience, even at an entry-level. Based in Santa Barbara, California, this role requires a proactive individual who can work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with team members to address any immediate needs or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Enter and maintain accurate data in organizational systems, ensuring all information is correctly recorded.

  • Prepare and send invoices, verifying their accuracy before distribution.
  • Organize and manage paperwork, ensuring all required documents are properly filed and accessible.
  • Support backend office operations by completing assigned administrative tasks.
  • Perform regular system updates and ensure database organization.
  • Collaborate with team members to address any immediate needs or issues.
  • Conduct follow-up communications to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create, edit, and maintain files.
  • Scan, type, and perform calculations as needed to support office operations.
  • Engage in frequent check-ins to align with team objectives and contribute to a cohesive work environment.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in data entry, with proficiency in 10-key typing.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for document and data management.
  • Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience with scanning, typing, and performing basic calculations.
  • Capability to manage and organize files systematically.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
