Description of the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer ServiceNow to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow development and configuration, with the ability to design, build, and implement scalable solutions that meet business needs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on technical ability, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across IT and business functions.

This is your job

  • Design, develop, and configure applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, HRSD, or other relevant modules).
  • Lead technical design sessions and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement custom applications, portals, workflows, integrations, and automation within ServiceNow.
  • Ensure adherence to coding and design best practices, maintaining high standards of performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge of ServiceNow best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends, and make recommendations for platform optimization.
  • Support governance processes, including code reviews, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Platform upgrade and patching
  • Production rollout and verification

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with proven expertise in at least two major modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, FSM).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and ServiceNow scripting languages.
  • Must have experience in building integrations through REST/SOAP
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, UI policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Service Portal.
  • Experience with integrations using APIs, MID Server, and external systems.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; additional certifications (CIS, CAD, CTA) are a strong plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (nice to Have)
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and processes (nice to Have)
