[Remote] Computer Aided Design Designer

They are seeking a Remote CAD Designer to support their engineering team in producing high-quality technical drawings for structural projects, while offering a flexible remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings for structural projects
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, and details for residential and commercial buildings
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy
- Revise drawings based on feedback and field data
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes and standards
Skills
- 1–3+ years of CAD drafting/design experience (AEC or structural preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit a strong plus
- Understanding of basic structural concepts
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in a structural or engineering consulting firm
- Knowledge of building codes and permitting drawings
- Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field
- Experience with Bluebeam, SketchUp, or other design/markup tools
