John Muir Cafe - Kitchen & Counter Assistant East Links Family Park, Dunbar, EH42 1XF Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the cafe / hospitality industry John Muir Café is looking for friendly and hardworking people to join our team! We’re a busy, family-friendly café in the heart of East Links Family Park, serving homemade scones, cakes, fresh salads, sandwiches, hot food, and Nespresso Coffee. We take pride in ourselves on giving every visitor a 5-star experience. We currently have a part-time position (up to 25 hours per week) available. Weekend work is essential. Café opening hours: 7 days a week, 9am - 5pm. Kitchen Assistant Duties: - Help prepare and make food quickly and consistently when orders come into the kitchen - Support with kitchen prep - Wash dishes / KP duties - Run food to tables Counter Assistant Duties: - Serve customers at the counter - Clear and clean tables - Restock fridges, display cabinets, and cake displays - Keep the café area clean and tidy - Wash dishes in the kitchen - Complete daily cleaning tasks What We’re Looking For: - Someone reliable, friendly, and willing to learn - A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment - Able to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and customer service - Training will be provided - we just need your enthusiasm and commitment! - Immediate start available.
