Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing large-scale data architectures and pipelines to meet the business and data science needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale data architectures and pipelines to collect, process, and normalize data, providing insights and addressing reporting needs.
• Develop ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and create tools for real-time and offline analytical processing.
• Collaborate with the data science team to integrate data and incorporate algorithms and models into digital processes.
• Work with data in Cloud, Hadoop, and experience designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines.
• Utilize strong programming skills in Python or other major languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems.
• Develop data warehouses and data models to support Data Science and other internal clients, integrating data from various sources and ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards.
• Analyze current data technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions.
• Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to determine the optimal solution given the requirements directed by the model/use case.

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in Data Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong Communication, Problem-Solving, and Critical Thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark.
• Experience with Reporting (Tableau).
