Quality Engineer - Early Career

Responsibilities
- Analyze business & technical requirements to create process designs
- Support & perform software development testing
- Execute root cause analysis & corrective action activities in support of digital transformation projects
- Travel as required
- Work on-site a minimum of two days per week
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Aerospace, Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, such as metallic machining, composite layup, and aerospace, heavy equipment, or automotive assembly
- Effective written, verbal, listening, and technical communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Must be a US Citizen
- This position will require a government security clearance
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to work on-site a minimum of two days per week
- Experience developing inspection methods, work instructions, and procedures for manufactured and supplier-provided products
- Ability to use causal analysis and root cause analysis tools to investigate and resolve technical and process issues
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM, manufacturing planning systems, and metrology software
- Experience defining and tracking performance metrics for continuous process improvement
- Familiarity with configuration and data management processes
