GSW Project Coordinator
MYR Group is a well-established contractor in the electrical construction industry, specializing in various construction projects including transmission and distribution. The GSW Project Coordinator will provide administrative support to project professionals, assist with payroll processing, maintain office supplies, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Administrative support:
- Payroll processing
- Processing of New Hire employees
- Initiate Employee Change of Status forms (COS)
- Complete Employee Rosters
- Data entry
- Maintain office supplies
- Assist in reconciliation of purchasing cards (credit cards)
- Assist project professionals in various administrative areas
- Generate submittals and final close out packages
- Switchboard
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards
Skills
- Minimum 1 -3 years of administrative support experience in the construction industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to think practically to solve office problems and interface effectively with senior project personnel
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel
- High school diploma or GED is required
