Opportunity for Growth and Flexibility
We're seeking Temporary Data Entry Clerks to join our team, and we're excited to offer the potential for future assignments and long-term opportunities. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute, with no prior experience required. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll collaborate with our internal data management team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, and you'll have the flexibility to work on Fridays (once a month) and Saturdays (2-3 times a month) at our headquarters in Palmetto, FL.
Responsibilities
As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:
* Transferring data from paper formats collected during events into our database using a laptop and mouse
* Accurately interpreting and inputting handwritten information into our database
* Verifying the accuracy of data by cross-referencing with source documents
* Updating and maintaining existing data records
* Organizing and filing paperwork after data entry to ensure nothing is misplaced
* Assisting with other tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
* The ability to type quickly and accurately (40-45 words per minute with 80-90% accuracy)
* A keen attention to detail is a must
* A basic understanding of databases
* A good command of English, both spoken and written
* Strong customer service skills
* Previous data entry experience is a plus, but not required
