Job Overview

We are seeking full-time Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our team at arenaflex. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from new and existing business clients, addressing their requests, and providing support in an efficient and effective manner. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, offering a competitive pay rate of $17.50 for English speaking and $20.00 for Bilingual French speaking representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and process orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Correctly document customer interactions and track call types to ensure accurate records and data analysis
  • Maintain support service levels and uphold Customer Service standards to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Follow up with customers to resolve inquiries regarding order status, shipping status, and stock availability
  • Takes inbound phone calls for up to 90% of assigned shift, ensuring prompt and efficient service
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support the team and contribute to the company's success

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume calls or call center experience
  • Medical-related background (medical billing, claims experience, in-office experience in a medical setting) or Insurance experience is a plus
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, including the ability to communicate with confidence in a clear, professional speaking voice
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated listening and comprehension skills
  • A clear team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain composure when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel), with SAP experience a plus
  • Previous experience in the optical industry is an asset, but not required
  • Ability to navigate information systems and internet, with strong English comprehension and a good command of grammar

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bilingual French speaking skills, offering a competitive pay rate of $20.00
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to connect hardwire/ethernet (no hotspots/WIFI)
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, or a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
