Job Overview

• Gather data requirements, create source-to-target mappings, and develop data validation scripts and reviews
• Design, develop, and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines, database schema/tables/views, and deliver datasets as input to science models and representations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and sustain data engineering projects, including data acquisition, data validation, and data processing
• Utilize various technologies, such as SQL (Snowflake and PostgreSQL), Python, Docker, Gitlab, and Windstream, to deliver high-quality data engineering solutions
• Develop and maintain automated workflow schedulers, ensuring efficient data processing and delivery
• Apply expertise in social database design and functionality to optimize data systems and improve performance

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance
• Proven expertise in using Python and SQL (preferably with Snowflake)
• Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices for code management/development
• Strong understanding of social database design and functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
