[Remote] Commercial Insurance Billing Specialist (remote)

The Insurance Billing Specialist will be responsible for generating entries for premiums, fees, and commissions, while also addressing billing discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Generate entries for premiums, fees, and/or commissions accurately and efficiently
- Research billing discrepancies or issues
- Provide solutions
- Communicate to stakeholders to ensure accurate billing, commission posting, and related financial reporting
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience
- Commercial Insurance Billing experience
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals
- Strong work ethic, exhibited through acceptable attendance, management of appropriate workload, and willingness to admit mistakes and take ownership of performance
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Familiarity with general accounting principles
- Knowledge of Insurance Billing systems
