The Role

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our business growth. You will work closely with our security and compliance teams to develop data pipelines that meet the most stringent data protection and compliance requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our data is secure, reliable, and accessible to our users.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies such as Java, Python, Scala, Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink, and Kafka.

  • Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to collect and aggregate data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with our security and compliance teams to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the highest standards of data protection and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data models that enable efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Work closely with our data engineering team to design and implement data pipelines that meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies and trends to ensure that our data infrastructure remains competitive and secure.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Scala).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data analytics.
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
