Job Summary

We're seeking part-time seasonal customer support representatives to work from home, handling a large volume of incoming calls, emails, and text messages. As a customer support representative, you'll be responsible for identifying and assessing customer needs, providing accurate and complete information, meeting personal contact handling quotas, and handling customer complaints and providing solutions. Responsibilities

As a customer support representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a large volume of incoming calls, emails, and/or text messages
  • Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Providing accurate, valid, and complete information using the appropriate methods/tools
  • Meeting personal contact handling quotas
  • Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate solutions
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Going the extra mile to engage customers

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and/or written
  • Comfortable working with a computer
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different character types
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload
  • Windows computer capable of running multiple (5+) Chrome tabs without slowdown
  • Headset compatible with computer
  • Quiet work environment free from distractions
  • Available to work weekends, with busiest times on Saturday afternoons, Sunday mornings, and Monday mornings (12 PM to 5 PM Eastern Saturday afternoons, 9 AM to 1 PM Eastern Sunday and Monday mornings)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Satisfactory results on completion of Indeed's Basic Computer Skills assessment
  • Completion of the Customer Service assessment
  • Previous customer service experience

Compensation

Our compensation package includes:

  • Temporary payrate of $11/hr, with the possibility of a raise to $12-$15/hr after a 3-week assessment period
  • Weekly pay
  • Incentive gift cards during peak season (June through August)
