Job Summary

As an Experienced Call Center Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our patients and clients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume calls, emails, and messages while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing blithequark's solution information entry strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into our secure database.
  • Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering top-off orders for processing.
  • Investigating missing prescription data and deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolving all data entry-related issues and special cases.
  • Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolving outbound decisions to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Settling outsider oddballs by inspecting, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
  • Providing support to pharmacists, both in-office and remotely, and recognizing and escalating issues to senior-level staff as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access data online).
  • Basic web search skills (e.g., open a program, type in URLs in the address bar, use a search engine, bookmark a website, navigate using back/forward/stop buttons, and complete forms online).
  • Middle-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
