Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service/Sales Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
  • Learning about products and services using our tools and training programs, and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company initiatives to provide informed and expert advice to customers

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash, credit card transactions, and other financial responsibilities
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or customer-facing environment

  • Knowledge of our products and services, or a willingness to learn and develop expertise
  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or the Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience with sales software, such as CRM systems or sales tracking tools
