Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, warm, and inviting classroom environment that is clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, needs, and achievements to foster partnership and support.
• Develop strong professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to encourage parent and community engagement.
• Adhere to all minimum licensing, quality-rated, and accreditation guidelines, as well as company standards, to maintain a high-quality standard of care.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, following our nutrition guidelines and USDA regulations.
• Utilize our science-based, proprietary curriculum and suggested supplement activities to create a fun and engaging learning environment tailored to each child's developmental needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance, child portfolios, USDA documentation, and other required records.
• Partner with team members and leadership to achieve center goals around enrollment, accreditations, and family engagement.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful as a Lead Teacher at Childcare Network, you'll need:

• Genuine warmth and understanding of the needs of young children and their families.
• A positive attitude and self-image, with a commitment to innovation and creativity.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, parents, and children.
• 1-3 years of teaching experience or certification (we'll support you in obtaining certification if needed).
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass the state-required criminal background check.
• Meet all state certifications and requirements.
