About the Role

We are looking for a distinguished academic to join our Department of Finance. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to our academic mission, through both research and teaching. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant and diverse academic community, engage in cutting-edge research, and teach the next generation of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research in finance, contributing to the school's research excellence and reputation.
• Teach and mentor students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive levels, developing their knowledge and skills in finance.
• Contribute to the administration of the Department, including service on committees and participation in departmental meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, enhancing the school's connections and reputation.
• Lead the design of research programs and attract high levels of research funding.
• Participate in the school's academic and social life, contributing to a positive and inclusive working environment.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• A PhD in Finance or a related field, or equivalent.
• A strong record of research and demonstrated excellence in teaching and service.
• A track record in attracting high levels of research funding (commensurate with grade).
• Extensive experience in leading the design of research programs.
• A national or international reputation (commensurate with grade).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and mentoring students at various levels.
• Strong connections with industry partners and the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
• Experience in leading teams and managing projects.
• Familiarity with academic administration and service.
