Our Enterprise product & platform organization is at the forefront of this mission, and we're looking for a seasoned Director, Technical Program Management to lead our DevOps initiatives and build a world-class team of technical program managers.

About the Role

As a Director, Technical Program Management on our Enterprise product & platform organization, you'll be responsible for driving large-scale technical programs that deliver on critical business goals. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and architects, to design and implement scalable solutions that support a world-class developer experience. Your expertise in DevOps, automation, and technical program management will be instrumental in shaping our technical landscape and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical programs that drive business outcomes, with a focus on DevOps, automation, and technical risk mitigation
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of technical program managers, with a focus on talent development and growth
  • Influence technical discussions with senior leadership, providing valuable insights and recommendations that guide technology-based decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that support a world-class developer experience
  • Simplify complex technical concepts and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive technical program success, with a focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results

Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong technical background, experience in driving large-scale technical programs, and excellent leadership and collaboration skills. Here are the essential and preferred qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
  • 5 years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably using AWS
  • 5 years of experience building & leading experienced TPM teams
  • 5 years of experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms
  • 5 years of experience with Agile delivery
  • 5 years of experience delivering large and complex programs
  • Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment
  • MBA or Master's Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in a multi-cloud environment
  • 4 years of experience with DevOps
  • 5 years of experience with Site Reliability Engineering
