Field Supervisor

Field Supervisor needed to lead a team of service technicians in Vestas Finland Oy. The role involves operational responsibility, people management, and collaboration with other stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience leading teams, excellent communication skills, and a business sense. The role offers an attractive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience leading teams of at least 10 people
• Educational or work background that has provided readiness for working with numbers and logical problem solving
• Comfortable with achieving and knowing how to get results through others
• Skilled in taking the tough discussions to achieve what you expect from your team
• Contribute to developing a learning organization
• Business knowledge
• Previous experience with having had own economical responsibility, such as a budget, an income target, a utilization factor etc.
• Educational or practical background of minimum 3 years
• Ability to operationalize a strategy for your own area, to convert targets received into operational growth and work requirements for your staff as well as aligning the organization with the strategy (e.g., on cost or safety)
• Comfortable with direction and expectation setting within Vestas quality, safety and cost goals as well as maintaining standards
• Understanding, application ability and willingness to work with and implement continuous improvement methodology (experience in e.g., Lean, Six Sigma or Agile) in your team
• Collaboration and Communication
• You actively seek to clarify expectations and roles at your level and for the level below you
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and spoken English and Finnish
