We are looking for a motivated UI/UX Design Intern eager to build solid UX & UI skills and gain hands-on experience with design systems. Under the guidance of senior designers, you will help craft consistent, intuitive interfaces for our learning products while learning industry-standard tools and methods.

• Assist with design system maintenance: Help update Figma components, tokens, and documentation.
• Support UI production: Create layout variations, states, and lightweight prototypes under senior direction.
• Participate in user testing: Observe usability sessions and assist in synthesizing findings for design iterations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Attend stand-ups and design critiques with product, engineering, and content teams.
• Uphold accessibility standards: Learn WCAG principles and apply them to interface tweaks and redlines.

• Gain practical experience at the intersection of design, technology, and education.
• Learn directly from designers who manage large-scale design systems.

• Build a portfolio of real features shipped to production.
• Have a path to a full-time job, based on performance

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree or certification in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, color, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools (coursework or personal projects acceptable).
• Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
